Bar-headed Geese

Bar-Headed Goose. This goose is native to Asia and is probably an escapee from somewhere .He spent quite a few days at Esquimalt Lagoon on Vancouver Island before heading off to other pastures..
The Bar-headed Goose is one of only a couple of birds that can actually cruise at an altitude of 29000 feet above sea level.That is above the height of Mount Everest.
